From June 17 to 21, 2024, I had the privilege of visiting the MCIA – UPC Center in Spain/ Catalunia  as part of my Erasmus+ Mobility Agreements stay. This visit provided a unique opportunity to engage with an international academic community, exchange insights, and foster collaborative research initiatives.

A notable highlight of my visit was the meeting with Ms. Khadija El Haddadi, Administrative Assistant Manager at the MCIA-UPC Research Center. Our discussions focused on the organizational structure and economic management capabilities of the Research Groups at UPC, offering valuable insights into their approach to managing public and private projects.

During my stay, I toured the facilities and engaged in meaningful discussions with students and collaborators. These interactions were instrumental in gaining fresh perspectives and ideas for my research. The following  work meetings   were particularly productive, covering the responsibilities of the Research Groups, the contracting procedures within the MCIA Research Group, and their strategic management approaches.

In addition, I had the opportunity to meet with the International Relations Office of the ESEIAAT Engineering School of Terrassa and its academic managers. These meetings were crucial in fostering international collaboration and understanding the broader academic environment.

This experience significantly broadened my professional network and deepened my understanding of international research collaboration and project management. The insights gained from this visit will undoubtedly contribute to my future research endeavors and academic growth. I highly recommend such exchanges for anyone seeking to expand their academic horizons and engage with innovative research communities.
